Educational Program

At Takshashila Institute of Autism and Neurodevelopmental Sciences, we believe that education and intervention should be individualized according to the needs of each learner. A comprehensive understanding of the individual considers their developmental profile, age, abilities, strengths, challenges, learning needs, and level of support required. Based on this understanding, an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) may be developed to establish meaningful educational and developmental goals and identify the most appropriate program.

Our educational programs integrate learning, therapy, communication, functional skills, social participation, and independence, with the aim of supporting meaningful development and successful participation across educational and everyday environments.

The program integrates relevant therapeutic support with school readiness, functional academics, communication, social skills, adaptive skills, and pre-vocational development, according to the learner’s individual profile.

Each learner follows an individualized program based on their assessment findings, developmental needs, abilities, and educational goals. The broader objective is to facilitate meaningful participation in education and, where appropriate, support progression toward inclusive education or mainstream educational settings.

A supportive program designed for children attending mainstream or inclusive schools who require additional developmental, educational, therapeutic, or functional support beyond regular school hours.

The program may address academic learning, remedial education, executive functioning, study skills, social skills, emotional regulation, behaviour management, communication, and therapeutic needs.

Individual goals are developed according to the learner’s specific requirements, with a focus on strengthening skills that support more confident, meaningful, and successful participation in the school environment.

An evening program designed to strengthen academic, communication, social, emotional, and functional skills within a structured and supportive learning environment.

The program focuses on academic reinforcement, study skills, communication, social competence, emotional regulation, group participation, functional learning, and life skills.

Through structured activities, guided practice, and meaningful peer interaction, the program provides opportunities for learners to practise, strengthen, and generalize skills across different situations and everyday contexts.
